ALL OF OUR STUDENTS GET TO SHINE ON STAGE, SHOWING FRIENDS AND LOVED ONES WHAT THEY’VE WORKED SO HARD TO ACHIEVE. THIS CAN ALSO BE THE MOST STRESSFUL TIME OF THE DANCE YEAR FOR PARENTS. PLEASE JOIN ME FOR A RECITAL FORUM ON SAT. APRIL 4th; TIME TBA. WE WILL GO OVER WHAT TO EXPECT, HOW TO PREPARE YOURSELF AS WELL AS YOUR DANCER, MAKE UP, AND ANSWER ALL OF YOUR QUESTIONS. THE MORE ORGANIZED AND INFORMATION YOU HAVE, THE BETTER THIS EXPERIENCE WILL BE. PARENTS PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS FOR DRESS REHEARSAL AND THE SHOW. 1.PLEASE BRING YOUR CHILD TO THE THEATER AT LEAST ˝ HOUR BEFORE START TIME (6:00 PM ON FRIDAY AND 2:30 PM ON SATURDAY’S 3:00 SHOW AND 6:30PM FOR THE 7:00 SHOW). ALL PERFORMERS MUST ARRIVE DRESSED AND READY TO PERFORM. ALL HAIR MUST BE IN A BALLET BUN AND MAKE – UP ON. PLEASE PUT A COVER UP OVER THEIR COSTUME. 2.IF YOUR CHILD HAS COSTUME CHANGES, PUT ALL COSTUMES AND PIECES INTO SEPARATE BAGS THAT ARE CLEARLY MARKED WITH THEIR NAME AND THE NUMBER OF THEIR DANCE. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE EXTRA BOBBY PINS ETC. FOR HEAD PIECES. ALSO SEND MAKE UP FOR TOUCH UPS. 3.PLEASE PUT YOUR CHILDS NAME OR AT LEAST INITIALS IN EVERY PIECE OF THE COSTUME AND SHOES. 4.ALL CHILDREN MUST BE SIGNED IN AND OUT OF THE DRESSING ROOMS. CHILDREN ARE NOT PERMITTED OUT OF THE DRESSING ROOMS WITH OUT A PARENT. 5.ON SATURDAY WE WILL HAVE A BREAK BETWEEN THE 3PM SHOW AND THE 7PM SHOW. IT WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 1 ˝ HOURS. ALL CHILDREN MUST BE SIGNED OUT OF THE DRESSING ROOM AT 5:OO PM! REFRESHMENTS ARE AVAILABLE IN THE LOBBY OR YOU MAY GO TO EAT. THE PERFORMANCE WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE ROYAL PALM BEACH HIGH SCHOOL THEATER WITH FULL COSTUMES, MAKE-UP, SCENERY, PROFESSIONAL SOUND AND LIGHTING. DRESS REHEARSAL DRESS REHEARSAL IS FRIDAY, MAY 14th AT THE ROYAL PALM BEACH HIGH SCHOOL THEATER. FULL MAKE-UP AND COSTUMES MUST BE WORN. ALL PERFORMERS IN THE FIRST ACT MUST BE AT THE SCHOOL BY 5:30pm, ALL PERFORMERS IN THE SECOND ACT MUST BE AT THE SCHOOL BY 7:00pm DO NOT BE LATE! ANYONE WHO IS NOT AT DRESS REHEARSAL WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO PERFORM IN THE SHOW ON SATURDAY. PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT DRESS REHERSAL IS TO IRON OUT ALL OF OUR KINKS AND WILL TAKE LONGER THAN THE ACTUAL SHOW.
